It’s no secret that short form content was the King of 2022. When we think of content we think of Tik Tok, IG Reels and short videos. More employers seek short form content creators because the cost are low and opportunity is high. I predict that 2023 will be an even bigger year for content creators.

Why Business Are Switching To Short Form Content
Companies love short form content because it’s cheap, fast and highly engageable. The content we watch on social media is shot on an IPhone. Therefore, the thing you are paying for is someone's time and labor (assuming your employee has a smartphone). The content takes minutes to edit and can be repurposed.
Since the content is cheap, fast to produce and highly engageable, it is a great way to consistently brand and reach your audience. Posting a reel a day is doable, increasing the probability it will appear on your target audience feed. Overall, short form content is cheap, fast to create and increases brand awareness quickly.

How to Use Content for Lead Generation
With anything, understanding the goal is important. I call this drawing the map to your desired destination. When it comes to generating leads it is critical to understand that content is just one stop, just one piece of the puzzle.

Top 3 Tips For Short Form Content Creators
(1) Ditch the boring intro. No one wants to know your name. No one really cares. Start with the meat and potatoes. The drop rate on short form content is 1 to 3 seconds. Don’t waste it with an introduction.
(2) Use high quality videos and audio. If you use music make sure it doesn’t distract the viewer from what you are saying.
(3) Focus on the Call To Actions (CTA). Direct your viewer effectively and correctly. Avoid complicated steps like. The call to action should be seamless. (example: link in bio, swipe up, hit the learn more button etc)
